Office Assistant Misses His Chance

While out on his lunch hour, Hobbes came across a newcomer to the area.
While I found her to be quite lovely and hoped to get to know her better, he was standoffish.

I think her long legs, perfectly placed feathers and beautiful blue head intimidated him.

"She's not all that pretty, I've seen prettier."
"Besides, girls like guys who play it cool.  You watch, she'll be back by here looking for me tomorrow."

I think his too-cool-for-school attitude backfired.
She hasn't come by here again.
He missed his chance.

  1. Your flying friends are outstanding! We do not have them here, other kinds but not those! I also liked your wild turkey!

    1. He actually stalked her for a bit and then he got a look at how big she really was. He decided she was too much girl for him.

  3. That would have been some "lunch" for Hobbes. We have a lot of wild turkeys around my house.

    1. She would have beat Hobbes to a pulp if she'd have stayed around. She caught sight of him and decided he wasn't worth losing a few feathers for.
