We Interrupt Our Regularly Scheduled Programing

out-to-lunch

Well, here it is, right on schedule.
My February Funk.
It is a bizarre occurrence that has been happening to me for 25 years now.
It seems that most everything painful in my life or the lives of those close to me, have happened in February. Believe it or not, there are three things brewing right now.
True story.
I won't recount them, as that only seems to make it worse.
I've just learned to roll with February.
I wonder if winter has anything to do with it?
Holidays are over.......folks have muddled through and then just given up, in one way or another by February.

Anyway, I open my blog every morning and it stares back at me. I can't think of anything to share.
I continue to read other blogs. You will find that I may taper off in my comments. I haven't disappeared. I'm just taking a break.

  1. things almost always come in three's I've come to expect it. Maybe your February will be turned around knowing you might end up with another Great Nephew sometime this month :) I'm hoping he holds out until March but as we all know, kids have a schedule all of their own. Love you! Enjoy your break :)

  2. Aw, CeeCee, I wish I could give you a big hug. Instead, I'll say I know just how you feel - I've been here, definitely, on more than one occasion. And yes, February is notoriously my most difficult month of the year, too. So - solidarity, sister! :-)
I hope what bothers your mind and heart currently passes quickly. Please let me know if you need a good listening ear or if there is anything I can do to help. ♥

  3. Boy do I every understand! The only things that really help me is longer days and sunshine...and me outside in it. The terrible zero * weather just doesn't help either.

  5. Yeah, February is a crummy month. Give me two or three Junes to replace Feb. and Nov. Hope you and your office assistant find something to amuse yourselves. If you do, blog about it. Reading blogs is getting me through these dregs of winter.

(I know I just got back from vacation but that doesn't mean I can't still whine).
