Tut, Tut, Looks Like Rain

Glorious, ground soaking rain!
Two inches and counting!

A gold star for the person who knows where my title came from.

  1. Seems to me, every American parent will know this reference! ...Tubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff...

Yay for rain in Texas! Hurray for sunshine and dry skies in Oregon!

  2. Didn't Christopher Robin sing that song? lol!
This is so funny, because my friend and I were singing this song years ago when I bougth her the book "The Taos of Pooh". Good memories....

Good for you with your rain!

    Wanna trade?
    It's snowing and blowing here!

  3. Eeyore I believe. I'm so happy and relieved for you. It continues no surprise to rain here in Oregon. I'll leave as soon as I sell the Hoopdie. I love you, Sis.

  4. Ah yes, in "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree", Pooh tells Christoper Robin to open his umbrella and say that, and CR does just that. "Tut, tut, it looks like rain." And I'm glad you're getting the rain and not us, because at this point, I'm thinking you probably need it a lot more than we do!

  5. Funny thing about this is that it also brought back another childhood memory. Our neighbor was a retired gentleman with no children. He used to always say "tut tut" when he was scolding someone. Hilarious. Thanks for the memory of "Ted" and Pooh.
