It Will Make Your Heart Sing

As a 40 something woman, it seems like the young and the beautiful get all the breaks. We, as Americans, are lead to believe that being skinny, rich and beautiful is what will make the world go 'round. As we age, we feel our dreams slipping away. Many of us simply give up pushing forward for happiness. We live our lives in a rut. We live our lives doing nothing new, nothing that will enlighten our minds or lighten our hearts.
Lee showed me a YouTube video tonight that nearly had me in tears. I could say more about it, but it speaks for itself. Some people just never give in and never give up.

  2. (Tears streaming down my face)

I have been reading and seeing stuff about this show and Susan Boyle, but, like others in the audience and the judges, I, too, was cynical. I judged her on physical appearance.

    I'm ashamed of myself.

That was probably the best singing and most heart touching singing I have ever heard.

Why people, like Brittney Spears, and Snoop Dog, etc, make it big and are so popular at such a young age is beyond me, after hearing her sing.

What a loss our world has had these past 47 years not to have been given the privilige of hearing that talented lady sing.
God has given her amazing talents, and because of her appearance, she has never been given the chance.

    How sad is that?

I could listen to her voice all day. So inspirational and uplifting. Just the thing to lift up one's heart and soul and feel love and hope again.

    God Bless her.

  7. I watched this over and over again the day it came out and I found myself crying every time. I loved that she stunned those judges and the lesson she taught the world just be being true to herself and using a talent. Loved it.
